It’s a HIT!

The University of Oldenburg's Higher Education Information Day (HIT) is held once a year for around 3,000 pupils from across Lower Saxony. Its aim is to familiarise young people interested in studying with the opportunities and services offered by the university and the city of Oldenburg. From lectures and guided tours of the campus to experiments and question-and-answer sessions, the students get to experience student life up close for a whole day.

An additional identity was developed for the university information day, which is used in various media, analogue, digital and physical. The branding plays with the various aspects of studying in Oldenburg. Different icons represent topics such as research, university sports or city life in a contemporary way. A rucksack was developed for future students to accompany them through the day, containing useful accessories as well as surprises. A small kit was developed for students advising prospective students on site, to make them instantly recognisable as a point of contact.
