Know-how for teams and executives

Know-how for teams and executives

The debate about how the world of work needs to change is in full swing, but what does it really take to succeed as a person and a leader in this new era? For author Andrea Grudda, one thing is clear: it is no longer just about traditional leadership skills, but about emphasising humour, generosity, regeneration, patience and courage.

For Andrea Grudda's new book, we developed a design that goes beyond mere visualisation. The optimistic graphic language creates an aesthetic narrative, specially created infographics convey complex content in an appealing way, and the typography strikes a balance between factual clarity and emotional expressiveness, creating an expressive reading experience. A jury from Stiftung Buchkunst selected "Character Proof" as one of the best designed books of the year.

In her book, Andrea Grudda explains the essential importance of individual character traits for teams and leaders. The focus is on the personal strengths that make the difference and pave the way for success in the modern work environment.

Two bright spot colours give the book its own identity. As well as creating an unusual visual impact that sets the book apart from conventional non-fiction titles, the two colours also have a structuring function. Guest contributions, for example, which appear at various points in the book, are identified by a subtle background colour. The colours also play a special role in the book's infographics.

The strong recognition value of colour and typography is not only evident in the interior design, but also in the additional media surrounding the book project - including social media announcements for lectures and the square cover of the audio book version.
